Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28, 1987) is an American actress and singer-songwriter.In her childhood she working in a local theater plays and television commercials , Duff gained fame for playing the title role in the television series Lizzie McGuire. Duff 's most commercially successful movies include Cheaper by the Dozen (2003), The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003), and A Cinderella Story (2004).

Her father John Stewart is a stage manager and television producer who has worked for Fox. Her mother Jules Mann-Stewart is a script supervisor originally from Maroochydore, Queensland, Australia. Kristen Stewart's acting career began at the age of eight, after an agent saw her perform in her elementary school's Christmas play.
